SPOD merchants have the possibility of placing 5 sample orders per calendar month inside the SPOD app at app.spod.com. You can find these options under the Order Products button on the left-hand side of the dashboard in your SPOD app, underneath Order Manually.

Merchants using SPOD inside Shopify will only see the option to Order Samples.

The sample order limit will reset on the 1^st of every month. Of course, you can order more samples in a single month if you wish, only without the sample discount. You can keep track of how many sample orders you have placed in the current month at the top of the sample designer.

Please note: The sample order limitation will be implemented on July 21st. No matter how many sample orders you have placed prior to this, you will be able to place 5 orders in the remainder of July. This counter will reset, as usual, on August 1^st.

Important: The monthly limit applies to the number of orders, not products in an order.

Example:

Order 1: 40 items

Order 2: 1 item

Order 3: 4 items

Order 4: 100 items

Order 5: 1 item

Cancelled orders will not count toward your limit. Only orders which are produced and shipped will count.

Samples can still be ordered once the limit has been reached. Regular prices will apply and the order will be treated like a regular manual order.
