If your orders are not synchronizing between WooCommerce and Spreadconnect, even though the connection was working previously, it may be due to inactive webhooks in your WooCommerce settings or incorrect order status.
How to check your webhook settings
WooCommerce uses webhooks to send order data such as order creation and updates to Spreadconnect. When these webhooks are deactivated or deleted, orders will no longer sync automatically. Sometimes, certain WooCommerce updates or plugin changes can affect these webhook settings, causing them to become inactive or removed.
- Log in to your WooCommerce Admin.
- Go to WooCommerce → Settings → Advanced → Webhooks.
- In the list of webhooks, check that both of the following are listed and active:
- SPOD order.created
- SPOD order.updated
Both of these webhooks are required for proper order synchronization between WooCommerce and Spreadconnect.
Understand WooCommerce order status
Spreadconnect only imports orders once they reach the correct WooCommerce status. For more details on WooCommerce order statuses, see here. To ensure your order is synced and processed, please check the following points.
- New orders usually start as “Pending payment”
→ The payment has not been completed yet
→ These orders are not sent to Spreadconnect - Once the payment is successful, the order status changes to “Processing”
→ This is the required status for synchronization
→ At this point, Spreadconnect automatically imports and processes the order
