To improve security for both your account(s) and Spreadconnect, we are introducing mandatory email verification. This means that you will need to verify your email address to continue using the app without interruptions. This process is designed to be simple and only needs to be done once.
Why is email verification mandatory?

- One-time Process: Once completed, you won’t have to go through the process again unless you decide to change your email address in the future
What happens if I don’t verify my email?
If you haven’t verified your email, you will be temporarily blocked from accessing your store's dashboard. However, your existing orders and store functionality will remain unaffected—everything else will work as usual.
Will this affect my existing orders?
No, all your orders and backend processes will continue to operate normally. The only change will be temporary restricted access to your store dashboard until your email is verified.
How to Verify Your Email
Here’s a step-by-step guide to help you complete the verification process quickly and easily:
- Initial Prompt: You will be notified that you need to verify your email to access the app.
- Send Verification Code: If your email is correct, click “Send Verification Code”. If you need to update your email, click “edit your email address”. If the email is invalid or has already been verified in our systems, an error message will appear.
- Check Your Inbox: After clicking “Send Verification Code”, check your email inbox for the code. It may take a few minutes.
- Resend Code: If you don’t receive the code but your email is correct, click “send code again”.
- Enter Verification Code: Once you receive your code, enter it to complete your verification.
- Access Restored: After verification, you’ll be redirected to your dashboard.
Verifying a New Email Address
If you have already verified your email address but want to change to and verify a new email address, follow these steps:
- Account Settings: Go to your account settings and add your new email address. If the email is invalid or has already been verified in our systems, an error message will appear.
- Receive Verification Code: We will send a verification code to your new email.
- Enter Code: Input the verification code to complete the update.
- Temporary Use: Your former email will remain active until the new one is verified.
- Complete Verification: Once verified, your new email will replace the old one in your account settings.
