I installed the Spreadconnect plugin for WooCommerce, what now?
Once the plugin has been successfully installed, WooCommerce will try to sync all products assigned to it from your Spreadconnect App.
If you already created a lot of products, you might want to make sure they all synced correctly.
When you create new products in your Spreadconnect App, they will be automatically synced to your WooCommerce store. However, they will not be automatically published. To publish them, you need to assign taxes and shipping costs. You can find more information here:
- How do I set my taxes for Spreadconnect products in WooCommerce?
- How can I configure my shipping cost for Spreadconnect products?
Once your products have been configured correctly, all orders that are placed will be sent to us and you will be able to see their status in your Spreadconnect App.
-
How are orders imported from WooCommerce to Spreadconnect?
Once an order in your WooCommerce store enters the status "processing", the plugin automatically forwards the order information to Spreadconnect. A Spreadconnect order will be created in your Account.
All orders can be found in the Spreadconnect App, under Orders.
If all information is valid for the order and in the Spreadconnect App (Payment method as been entered, address is valid, etc.) the order will show Ready for Production or In Production, depending on its status.
Information about your order status will be reflected in your WooCommerce order detail page, as Order Processing.

How can I send the tracking link automatically to my customers on WooCommerce?
WooCommerce doesn't provide the tracking information to your customers automatically.
By default, the tracking links and information are added in the order notes. To be able to forward them to your customers, you need to install an additional plugin to your store.
Here's one that works well with Spreadconnect and is free: Advanced Shipment Tracking - zorem
Once you download and install the plugin, simply head over to the WooCommerce side-menu and click on Shipment Tracking.
Then, under the Shipping Carriers section, you will need to add the shipping carriers we use at Spreadconnect, depending on which countries you send to, which production location you selected for your Spreadconnect account, and the shipping types you offer your customers.
An exhaustive list will be available soon. For now, make sure you select DHL and UPS for Europe, and USPS and FedEx for US. s

How do I set my taxes for Spreadconnect products in WooCommerce?
To be able to publish your products from the Spreadconnect App, you need to set up your tax rates in your WooCommerce settings.
Before creating any tax rates, we highly recommend to you contact a tax advisor. They will be able to set the right rates for you.
To set the tax rates, go to your WooCommerce account and click on Settings -> Tax -> Standard Rates. The tax rate depends on a few factors, such as where you are selling to and what kind of business you are. For example, if you are selling within Germany and you do not have any tax exemption, the usual tax rate would be 19%.
Once the standard rates have been set up, you need to assign the applicable tax rate to a product.
All of those rates will be used by WooCommerce during checkout to calculate the right amount of taxes charged to your customer.

How Can I Offer Free Shipping?
You can also offer free shipping as a benefit for your WooCommerce customers, but keep in mind that this does not mean Spreadconnect's shipping costs will be free.
It is possible to offer free shipping for your customers in two different ways. The first is to create an option for all products in a specific Shipping zone, using the same method as for premium or express shipping.
You can also offer free shipping for specific products using Product shipping classes. To do this, create a class for free shipping and assign it to the products for which you wish to offer free shipping.
- Go to WooCommerce > Settings > Shipping > Shipping Classes
- Select Add shipping class
- Enter a Shipping class name and description
- Click Save shipping classes
You can then assign this new shipping class to specific products in WooCommerce > Products
How Can I Set Shipping Rate Per Order Size?
Flat Rate Shipping can be used to set up a shipping rate per order size. You can find more information about it here, WooCommerce shipping documentation.

Why are my products not synched to my WooCommerce store?
There can be multiple reasons why products are not synching to a WooCommerce store, we have described the most common cases below:
1. Large number of products
WordPress might automatically stop syncing your products if you a creating a large number of them. This is due to the Maximum Execution Time limit set up by WordPress.
To allow every product to sync correctly, you can either:
- Publish smaller amounts of variants. Ex: One product per color.
or
- Increase the Maximum Execution Time limit in WordPress. There is a multitude of ways how to change it available online.
2. Different attributes
The attributes set in the Integrations settings page on admin.spreadconnect.app need to be identical to the attributes set on the WooCommerce site (products > attributes) for product synchronisation with more than one variant (products with more colors and sizes).
If you still encounter problems, please get in touch with our support team.

Problems with Synchronizing Images from Spreadconnect App to WooCommerce
When creating a product for WooCommerce, it is possible that the images and all variants will only be visible after a certain delay. This depends on many factors, such as the number of variants, the time limit of your WordPress website and your internet connection.
This problem is a known issue when the hosting provider you use for your WooCommerce store does not have enough capacity. Generally speaking, cheaper plans have cheaper capacity, and therefore pictures take longer to upload and the synchronization may occasionally fail.
All information should be correctly uploaded and visible after 30 minutes to 1 hour. If the download should take more than 1 hour, we suggest you that you update your web host.
What Can I Do?
Check if the image shows up in the Media section of your WooCommerce Dashboard
1. Go to your WooCommerce Dashboard
2. Click Media at the top of the left menu
3. Upload the images you want to sync
4. Check that the images are displaying correctly
Ask your hosting provider about the maximum permitted upload file size. How you do this will depend on your hosting provider.
You can find a list of suggested hosting providers here:
These are some (non-affiliated) hosting providers we recommend:
SiteGround is a simple hosting platform, starting at $3.99/month.
Bluehost is another provider good for simple stores, starting at $3.95/month.
DigitalOcean provide cloud-based storage built for developers, starting at $5/month.
WP Engine specializes in WordPress and WooCommerce hosting, starting at $29/month.
