• How do I get started with TikTok Shop?

    Follow the steps explained in the video to connect Spreadconnect to your TikTok Shop account.

     

  • How do I set up my TikTok Shop account?

    1. Register for a TikTok Shop Seller Account

    Sign-up here using your phone number or existing TikTok account. To start selling on TikTok, you must create a seller account, even if you already have a TikTok account.

    2. Enter your business information
    Select your business type:

    • Individual: Selling under your own name, not as a registered business.
    • Business: Refers to a legally authorized business entity

    3. Add your seller information
    Provide information about yourself. Depending on your business type, you need to enter the following information:

    • Individual: US passport or US driver’s license and US taxpayer ID.
    • Business: US passport or US driver’s license and company registration document.

    4. Enter your shop information
    Choose a name for your shop and select a product category.

    • Shop name: Ensure it complies with TikTok Shop registration guidelines. For more details, refer to the TikTok Shop registration guidelines .
    • Primary product: Briefly describe your product for registration purposes.

    5. Submit your registration
    Click “Submit” to complete the registration process. Your application will be reviewed by the TikTok Shop Team, which may take 2 to 5 days. In the meantime, you can proceed with other steps to set up your TikTok Shop.

  • Why is Spreadconnect on TikTok Shop only available for the US?

    It is currently only possible to connect your Spreadconnect account to TikTok Shop US if you are registered for Spreadconnect - United States (see How should I choose the region during registration?)

     

    While TikTok Shop is available in multiple countries, TikTok Shop US uses a different platform, and requires you to sign up using a valid US ID. At the moment Spreadconnect is only integrated to TikTok Shop US, and not to any other country.

     

    As it is not possible for our productions in Europe to ship items to the US, we had to make the Spreadconnect App for TikTok Shop only available for the US.

     

  • How do I set up my tax information on TikTok Shop?

    To start selling on TikTok Shop in the United States, you need to set up your tax information:

    1. Go to your Dashboard.
    2. Click “My Account”.
    3. Select Account Settings.
    4. Click on Tax Information and add your tax information.

  • How do I set up a warehouse/pickup on TikTok Shop?

    To be able to set up your shipping options in TikTok Shop, you will first have to create a Warehouse/Pickup address.

    Head over to your TikTok Seller Center and go to your Account settings and follow these steps:

    1. Click on Warehouse Settings
    2. Add a Warehouse.

    Here, you will have to enter some information:

     

    Warehouse name: You can decide what name this location will have. You can also simply use Spreadconnect Production.
    Contact Person and Phone Number : Here, you will need to enter your own information,
    Address: Enter our facility's address: 7180 West Post Road, Las Vegas, Nevada, 89113

  • How do I configure my shipping rates for TikTok Shop?

    Important to know 

    Before configuring your shipping settings in TikTok Seller Center, we recommend reviewing the information page on this topic: TikTok Seller Center Shipping Guide. 

    Configuring your shipping settings 
    1. Go to the Seller Center in TikTok Shop 

    1. Click Orders on the left-hand side menu 

    1. Navigate to Fulfillment settings 

    1. Under Shipping and delivery, choose the shipping option at the top of the page 

    1. Make sure to select Seller shipping 

     

    By selecting Seller shipping, you’ll need to set up a warehouse for pickups and returns. For guidance, see the article:  ‘How do I set up a warehouse pickup for TikTok Shop’ 

    What happens if the wrong shipping option is selected? 

    If you mistakenly select TikTok shipping instead of Seller shipping, Spreadconnect will NOT be able to fulfill your orders. This is because we won’t have access to the necessary customer information to process and send the orders. When this error occurs, orders in your Spreadconnect account will be displayed as canceled automatically. 

     

    Setting shipping rates 

    1. Go to the Seller Center in TikTok Shop 

    1. Select Orders from the left-hand menu 

    1. Navigate to Fulfillment settings 

    1. Under Shipping and delivery, scroll to the bottom of the page to create and edit shipping templates 

    • We recommend using either Quantity-based pricing or Flat rates 

    • To ensure your flat rates cover the actual costs, refer to our shipping rates: 

  • Can I add products to TikTok Shop directly?

    Products that are to be fulfilled by the Spreadconnect connection cannot be added directly in the TikTok Shop seller center.

    • Adding and editing products must be managed within your Spreadconnect account. These products will sync when you select TikTok Shop as a POS.
    • Within the seller center, products can be deactivated, activated, and assigned to specific categories.
  • Do I need to select Spreadconnect Production or U.S. Pickup Warehouse?

    When creating a product for your TikTok Shop in your Spreadconnect account, you will encounter the "Complete" section in the Add Product process, where you need to choose a TikTok warehouse. You have two options:

    • Spreadconnect Production: This option must be set up beforehand (set up warehouse address)
    • U.S. Pickup Warehouse: This service is provided by TikTok Shop and is not aligned with Spreadconnect products.

    Make sure to choose Spreadconnect Production when setting up a product fulfilled by Spreadconnect.

  • How does the product sync work on TikTok Shop?

    In the seller center, you can check the status of your product catalog in the "Overview" section.

    Every product synced to your TikTok Shop needs to be approved by TikTok. This process can take minutes, hours, or even days. If your product is rejected, please review the TikTok Shop guidelines.

     

    Completing the “Add Product” Journey in your Spreadconnect account

    At the end of the initial product creation process, you will see a button labeled “Auto publish to store” at the bottom. Enabling this feature will sync your product to your TikTok Shop by clicking “Complete.”

    If you do not enable “Auto publish to store,” the final product submission must be done in the TikTok Shop seller center. In this case, the status of the product will change from draft to pending.

    To submit the product in the seller center, follow these steps:

    Products >>> Choose product >>> Edit product >>> Update

  • Why were only 100 products synced to my TikTok Shop?

    As a new seller, you are in a "probation period" from TikTok Shop's perspective. During this period, you can sync only 100 products or variants per day, and you can generate up to 100 orders per day.

  • Why can't I see the order in the Spreadconnect app immediately after someone places an order on my TikTok Shop?

    TikTok Shop has a one-hour free cancellation policy that allows buyers to cancel their orders without notifying the seller. After this one-hour window, the order is transferred to Spreadconnect and the status in the seller center changes to "Awaiting Shipment".
