• What are Spreadconnect's shipping times & prices from the US?

Spreadconnect believes in full transparency when it comes to shipping. With our Shipping Calculator for US based accounts, you can easily find out how long deliveries will take based on the destination and order value.

We offer straightforward shipping costs and one of the fastest turnaround times in the industry—95% of orders are shipped within 48 hours. Some products may take longer due to production timelines, which are clearly indicated.

Our shipping prices are based solely on your order value, with no hidden fees. Unlike competitors who calculate costs based on product types, individual prices, or item counts—adding unnecessary complexity—Spreadconnect keeps things simple.

For orders containing more than 10 items, we recommend placing your order a few days in advance. This allows us to accommodate the additional production time required for larger volumes and helps ensure timely delivery.

A shipping calculator for all EU based accounts can be found here.

  • Do I need my customer's phone number at checkout?

In September 2026, we made some internal adjustments to how shipping is handled. As part of this, we now work more closely with local shipping carriers in your customers' regions, in addition to our existing carrier partners. This change is designed to make deliveries faster and more reliable for your end customers.

To make sure both you and, more importantly, your customers get the best possible shipping experience, we recommend collecting the customer's phone number as a mandatory field at your checkout.

    What has changed?

    • As of September 2026, we've adjusted how shipments are routed, working more closely with local shipping carriers to speed up delivery.
    • Local carriers frequently use the recipient's phone number to coordinate delivery — for example, to send delivery notifications, arrange redelivery, or resolve address issues quickly.
    • Without a phone number, carriers may not be able to reach your customer if something goes wrong during delivery, which can lead to delays or return tot sender.

Why this matters for US orders

All US orders ship with Maersk, which then hands the parcel to one of four last-mile partners for final delivery: OnTrac, Amazon, SpeedX or USPS.

All four of these carriers require a phone number to complete delivery reliably. Make the phone field mandatory in your checkout — without it, delivery may be delayed or the parcel may be returned.

Last-mile carrier What the phone number is used for
OnTrac Delivery notifications and delivery exception alerts
Amazon Delivery notifications; driver contact for access issues
SpeedX Tracking and delivery updates; driver contact
USPS Delivery notifications; redelivery and address correction

The last-mile partner is assigned based on the delivery address and region, and is not known before the order is dispatched — so there is no order for which the phone number can safely be left out.

    What should I do?

Make sure your checkout process on connected platforms collects the customer's phone number, and consider making it a mandatory field.

    • See WooCommerce's options here
    • Always include a phone number when placing manual or sample orders through your dashboard.
  • Which carrier delivers my order in the US?

Most SpreadConnect orders travel with two carriers. First, our shipping partner handles the transport from our production facility to the destination. Once the parcel is in the US network, a local last-mile carrier takes over and delivers it to the recipient's door.

This means the carrier name on your tracking link may change during transit, and the delivering carrier is often a different company from the one shown when the order was dispatched. That is normal and does not indicate a problem with your shipment.

    Carriers for US deliveries

    United States (US)MaerskAmazon

    United States (US)MaerskUSPS

All US orders ship with Maersk. Maersk then hands the parcel to one of four last-mile carrier for final delivery.

    Things to know

Which last-mile carrier delivers your order. The partner is selected by Maersk based on the delivery address, the region and the parcel. You cannot choose the last-mile carrier, and it is not possible to predict it before the order is dispatched. The tracking link for the individual order will show the delivering carrier once the parcel enters the last-mile network.

Carriers can change. The last-mile partner may vary by region, parcel size, or delivery address. Always treat the tracking information for a specific order as the authoritative source.

  • How are items packed/sent to customers?

Spreadconnect utilizes white label packaging and package inserts, meaning that both are completely devoid of any branding or identifying marks. The customers are yours, the products are yours, the brand is yours. Spreadconnect's branding will not appear on anything we ship to customers. The package below is an example of how an order would be delivered to your customer.

Adding merchant branding to packaging and package inserts is in consideration for the future, but at this time, everything is white label. We’ll keep you updated!
