• Shipping Provider Updates in Europe

This article summarises recent changes to the carriers and services used for Express and international Standard shipments.

Express shipments — switch from DHL to UPS

All Express orders are now shipped with UPS Express. DHL Express is no longer used.

    Standard shipments via Maersk

All shipments to the following countries are currently sent primarily with Maersk. In the destination country, Maersk hands over to a local carrier, which is visible in the tracking.

    Countries currently shipping with Maersk:

    • FR — France
    • SE — Sweden
    • DK — Denmark
    • ES — Spain
    • PT — Portugal
    • IT — Italy
    • CZ — Czech Republic
    • SK — Slovakia

Shipments can be tracked at: https://www.maersk.com/tracking/parcel

Important note: We are also working on automatically including the tracking link in the shipping confirmation email sent to customers.

  • What are Spreadconnect's shipping times & prices for EU?

Spreadconnect believes in full transparency when it comes to shipping. With our Shipping Calculator, you can easily find out how long deliveries will take based on the destination and order value.

We offer straightforward shipping costs and one of the fastest turnaround times in the industry—95% of orders are shipped within 48 hours. Some products may take longer due to production timelines, which are clearly indicated. For large orders (more than 10 items), we recommend placing them a few days in advance to account for additional production time.

Our shipping prices are based solely on your order value, with no hidden fees. Unlike competitors who calculate costs based on product types, individual prices, or item counts—adding unnecessary complexity—Spreadconnect keeps things simple.

For orders containing more than 10 items, we recommend placing your order a few days in advance. This allows us to accommodate the additional production time required for larger volumes and helps ensure timely delivery.

A shipping calculator for all US based accounts can be found here.

  • How are items packed/sent to customers?

Spreadconnect utilizes white label packaging and package inserts, meaning that both are completely devoid of any branding or identifying marks. The customers are yours, the products are yours, the brand is yours. Spreadconnect's branding will not appear on anything we ship to customers. The package below is an example of how an order would be delivered to your customer.

Adding merchant branding to packaging and package inserts is in consideration for the future, but at this time, everything is white label. We’ll keep you updated!

  • Why do I need to provide a phone number for Express shipping, manual and sample orders?

As of August 2025, DHL requires a valid recipient phone number for all Express shipments. This is necessary to ensure smooth delivery and avoid delays or returns.

Because of this requirement, all order types placed manually or as samples now require a phone number—even if Express shipping is not selected.

    What has changed?

    • All Express shipments will be sent with DHL.

    • A valid phone number is mandatory for all Express orders.

    • The phone number field is now required when placing:

    • Manual orders and sample orders placed through the Spreadconnect dashboard will now show the phone number field as required regardless of which shipping method is selected.

    • If an order is placed via one of your connected sales channels (e.g. Shopify, WooCommerce), and Express shipping is selected at checkout, the end customer’s phone number must be included.

What happens if the phone number is missing?

Express orders submitted without a phone number cannot be processed. Please note that the phone number cannot be added later, so the order will remain unfulfilled and will not enter production.

    What should I do?

    • Make sure your checkout process on connected platforms collects the customer’s phone number when Express shipping is selected.

      • See Shopify's options here.

      • See WooCommerce options here.

    • Always include a phone number when placing manual or sample orders.

  • Can you ship to a Packstation (Germany only)?
